There are certain signs that you may benefit from physical therapy
These signs include:
โข Inability to stand or sit comfortably for long periods of time
โข Difficulty getting in and out of bed
โข Trouble sleeping
โข Difficulty getting dressed, preparing a meal or opening containers
โข Inability to walk for at least 20 minutes
โข Trouble with balance or unsteadiness
โข Unable to enjoy leisure activities
โข Unable to interact with children or grandchildren
โข Limited ability or pain during exercise
โข Unable to work or perform job duties
โข Difficulty going up and down steps or curbs
So, could you benefit from physical therapy?
If you find yourself avoiding the most basic daily activities, hobbies or recreational pursuits because of an injury or pain help could come in the form of physical therapy.
Reaping the benefit from physical therapy doesn’t involve medication, invasive procedures and it doesn’t mask the pain or discomfort.
In other words, Physical therapy is intended to resolve the issue, get you back to normal and allow you to enjoy the things you love to do.
