What is Tele-Rehab Therapy?
Tele-rehab therapy is the use of telecommunications and video conferencing to remotely provide healthcare information and therapy services. This can include, but is not limited to, patient evaluation, treatment intervention and monitoring, consultation, education, complimentary injury assessments and training services. Tele-rehab therapy services continue to gain traction as a means to increase access to care, especially for patients with transportation issues, confinement to their home and other issues. These services allow us to extend our reach outside our clinics.

What is Needed to Participate in a Remote Tele-Rehab Visit?
Participating in a tele-rehab remote visit is easy and not as complicated as one would think. All you need is a computer (PC or Mac) with a webcam, iPad or tablet or a smartphone/iPhone with an internet connection and an email. We will send you an email notice about the session with a link to click on. It is as simple as that.
How Long will a Typical Tele-Rehab Session Last?
This will vary and is based on individual need and circumstance. The average session will be 30-45 minutes. The initial consult may last a little longer.
Will Insurance Carriers cover Tele-Health?
Most insurance carriers are covering tele-health services during this pandemic period. However, there is significant variability between plans. We will identify and verify your insurance benefits. We will offer discounted self-pay rates for patients who are uninsured, have plans that do not cover tele-health services or have high deductible HSA style plans.
